A Day when Wealth nor Contacts will Help

“O you who have believed, spend from that which We have provided for you before there comes a Day in which there is no exchange and no friendship and no intercession. And the deniers - they are the wrongdoers.”

[Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Ayat 254]

“It is He who enables you to travel on land and sea until, when you are in ships and they sail with them by a good wind and they rejoice therein, there comes a storm wind and the waves come upon them from everywhere and they assume that they are surrounded, supplicating Allah, sincere to Him in faith, ‘If You should save us from this, we will surely be among the thankful.’”

[Surah Yunus (10), Ayat 22]

Even the Strongest Mountains will be Dust

“And they ask you about the mountains, so say,
‘My Lord will blow them away with a blast.’”

[Surah Ta Ha (20), Ayat 105]

A Day Spanning 50,000 Years

“The angels and the Spirit will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.”

[Surah Al-Maarij (70), Ayat 4]

Standing for Almost 50,000 Years

Narrated By Abu Hurairah (r.a) that the Prophet (s.a.w) said, “The people will stand before the Lord of the worlds for the length of half of a day, which is like fifty thousand years. That day will be made easy for the believer like the sun lowering itself until it has set.”

[Musnad Abi Yala, 6025] (Sahih)

The Seven who will be Shaded by Allah

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Kitab Bada Al-Wahi (1), 3]

Giving Charity in Secret & Publicly

“Those who spend their wealth [in the way of Allah] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.”

[Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Ayat 274]

Who Provides Financial Ease to Others

Narrated by Abu Yasir (r.a), the companion of the Prophet (s.a.w), that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “Whoever would like Allah to shade him with His shade, let him give respite to one in difficulty, or waive repayment of the loan.”

[Ibn Majah, Kitab Sadaqat (15), 2419] (Sahih)

A Martyr who was Under Debt

Narrated by Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “The martyr will be forgiven for everything (every sin), except debt (loan).”

[Sahih Muslim, Kitab Al-Imarah (33), 4883]

Whoever Forgave Debts / Loans of People

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “A man used to give loans to the people and used to say to his servant, ‘If the debtor is poor, forgive him, so that Allah may forgive us.’ So when he met Allah (after his death), Allah forgave him.”

[Sahih Bukhari, Kitab Ahadith Al-Anbiya (60), 3480]

Umar ibn Al-Khattab (r.a) said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) saying, “Whoever shades the head of a fighter, Allah will shade him on the Day of Resurrection; whoever equips a fighter until he has all that he needs, will have a reward equal to his until he dies (or returns); whoever builds a mosque in which the Name of Allah is remembered, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise”

[Surah Ale-Imran (3), Ayat 185]

The Reality of the Life (2)

Guidance is for those who have Taqwa

“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance
for those conscious of Allah.”

[Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Ayat 2]

Taqwa - A Simple Example

“It has been stated that Umar ibn Al-Khattab (r.a) once asked Ubayy ibn Ka’b (r.a) regarding Taqwa. Ubayy (r.a) asked, ‘Have you not traversed on a thorny path?’ When Umar (r.a) replied in the affirmative, Ubayy (r.a) asked, ‘What do you do?’ He replied, ‘I fold up my garment, and I tread cautiously’. Ubayy (r.a) said, ‘That is Taqwa.’”

[Tafsir ibn Kathir, Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Ayat 2]

Why Fasting Has Always Been Prescribed

“O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become
God conscious.”

[Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Ayat 183]

Fasting is a Shield Against the Hell Fire

Narrated by Saeed bin Abi Hind ... Uthman said, ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say, “Fasting is a shield against the Fire just like the shield of anyone of you against fighting.”’

[Ibn Majah, Kitab As-Siyam, 1639] (Sahih)

Avoid Fights & Argues While Fasting

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (r.a) in a narration that, “If one of you starts his day fasting, let him not engage in any obscene or ignorant speech, and if someone insults him or argues with him, let him say. ‘I am fasting, I am fasting.’”

[Muslim, Kitab As-Siyam (13), 2703]

Record of Good Deeds & Evil Deeds

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, said, ‘If My slave thinks of doing a bad deed, then do not write it down for him. Then if he does it, write it down as one bad deed. If he thinks of doing a good deed then he does not do it, write it down as one good deed, and if he does it, write it down tenfold.’”

[Muslim, Kitab ul-Emaan (1), 334]

Reward for Quranic Recitation

Muhammad bin Ka’b Al-Qurazi said that he heard Abdullah bin Masood (r.a), “The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, ‘Whoever recites a letter from Allah’s Book, then he receives the reward from it, and the reward of ten the like of it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.’”

[Tirmidi, Kitab Sawab Al-Quran, 2910] (Hasan)

Reward for True Sadaqa

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.”

[Surah Al-Baqarah (2), Ayat 261]

Every Salah will be Rewarded Ten Times

“Narrated By Anas bin Malik (r.a), The night journey ... Allah said, ‘The Word that comes from Me does not change, so it will be as I enjoined on you in the Mother of the Book.’ Allah added, ‘Every good deed will be rewarded as ten times so it is fifty in the Mother of the Book but you are to perform only five (in practice).’ ...”

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Kitab At-Tauheed (97), 7517]

The Reward for Congregational Prayer

“Narrated by Abdullah bin Umar (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, ‘The prayer in congregation is twenty seven times superior to the prayer offered by person alone.’”

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Kitab ul-Azaan (10), 645]

The Reward for Praying in Haram

Daughters Can Be A Shield From Hellfire

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Kitab Al-Adab (78), 5995]

“Has He chosen daughters over sons? What is with you?
How do you make judgement?”

[Surah As-Saffat (37), Ayat 153-154]

“And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He
- and for them is what they desire.”

[Surah An-Nahl (16), Ayat 57]

Disbelievers on a Daughter’s Birth

“And when one of them is informed of a daughter, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the description of evil ...”

[Surah An-Nahl (16), Ayat 58-60]

Who Was Blessed With Seven Daughters

‘O Abu Yusuf! the prophets are fathers of daughters,’ and his statement would take away my sorrow.”

The Gates of Hell Are Seven

Who Prayed for the Seventh Daughter

Good Treatment with Elders and Young

When Jibrail saw Paradise & Hell

M. Ahmad Zafar       |       14th Nov 2022       |       www.aagahi.com

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “When Allah created Paradise and the Fire, He sent Jibril to Paradise, saying, ‘Look at it and at what I have prepared in it for its inhabitants.’” He (s.a.w) said, “So he came to it and looked at it, and at what Allah had prepared in it. He (Jibril) said, ‘Indeed, by your Might, none shall hear of it except that he shall enter it.’ ...

Jinns Were Created 2,000 Years Earlier

... Then He gave the order for it to be surrounded with hardships. He said, ‘Return to it and look at it, and at what I have prepared in it for its inhabitants.’” He (s.a.w) said, “So he returned to it and found it surrounded with hardships. He returned to Him (Allah) and said, ‘Indeed, by your Might, I fear that none shall enter it.’ He said, ‘Go to the Fire and look at it and at what I have prepared in it for its inhabitants.’ So he found it, one part of it riding the other ...

... So he returned to Him (Allah) and said, ‘Indeed, by your Might, none shall hear of it and then enter it.’ So He gave the order for it to be surrounded with desires, then He said, ‘Return to it.’ So he (Jibril) returned to it, then he said, ‘Indeed, by Your Might, I fear that none shall be saved from it except that he shall enter it.’”

Reward for Spending in the Way of Allah

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Kitab Salat Al-Tarawih (31), 2039]

How Shaytaan Flows in a Person (2)

The Good & Bad Dreams

Abu Qatadah (r.a) said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say, “Good dreams come from Allah and bad dreams come from Shaytaan ...”

[Sahih Al-Muslim, Book of Dreams (42), 5900]

Allah Himself Granted Power to Shaytaan

“And he had over them no authority except [it was decreed] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian.”

[Surah Saba (34), Ayat 21]

Shaytaan Whispers About Allah’s Creation

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “Satan comes to one of you and says, ‘Who created so-and-so?’ till he says, ‘Who has created your Lord?’ So, when he inspires such a question, one should seek refuge with Allah and give up such thoughts.”

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Book on Beginning of Creation (59), 3276]

Seek the Protection of Allah (s.w.t) from Shaytaan Before Reciting the Quran

“So when you recite the Quran, [first] seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled [from His mercy].”

[Surah An-Nahl (16), Ayat 98]

“And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, ‘Indeed, the promise of Allah was of truth. And my promise was of betrayel. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded. So blame youselves and not me. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment.’”

[Surah Ibrahim (14), Ayat 22]

Taking Help in Fighting Your Shaytaan

“One of the Salaf asked his student, ‘What do you do when the devil whispers to you?’ He replied, ‘I fight him back.’ The teacher asked, ‘What if he returns?’ He replied, ‘I gight him.’ The teacher asked again, ‘What if he returns?’ The student repeated again, ‘I fight him.’ The teacher said, ‘This will take too long. Do you see if you try to pass by some sheep and the shepherd’s dog barks at you to prevent you from passing, what would you do?’ He replied, ‘I would struggle to fight and repel him.’ The teacher replied, ‘This would take too long. Instead, seek the assistance of the sheep’s owner, he would suffice you from him.’”

A Similar Hadith in Sahih Bukhari

Ibn Umar (r.a) … said, “One of you will come close to his Lord till He will shelter him in His screen and say: Did you commit such-and-such sin? He will say, ‘Yes.’ Then Allah will say, ‘Did you commit such and such sin?’ He will say, ‘Yes.’ So Allah will make him confess (all his sins) and He will say, ‘I screened them (your sins) for you in the world, and today I forgive them for you.’”

[Sahih Bukhari, Kitab Al-Adab, 6070]

When a Believer will be Judged by Allah (3)

... قَالَ إِنِّي سَتَرْتُهَا عَلَيْكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأَنَا أَغْفِرُهَا لَكَ الْيَوْمَ قَالَ ثُمَّ يُعْطَى صَحِيفَةَ حَسَنَاتِهِ أَوْ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ قَالَ وَأَمَّا الْكَافِرُ أَوْ الْمُنَافِقُ فَيُنَادَى عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْأَشْهَادِ { هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ أَلَا لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ }

... then He will say, “I concealed them for you in the world, and I forgive you for them today.” Then he will be given the scroll of his good deeds in his right hand. But as for the disbeliever or the hypocrite, (his sins) will be announced before the witnesses.’” { These are the ones who lied against their Lord! No doubt! The curse of Allah is on the wrongdoers. }

[Ibn Majah, Kitab Al-Muqaddimah, 183] (Sahih)

Who Conceals & Who Exposes the Sins

Narrated by Ibn Abbas (r.a) that the Prophet (s.a.w) said, “Whoever conceals the (hidden) fault of his Muslim brother, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever exposes the fault of his Muslim brother, Allah will expose his faults, until (so that) He shames him, due to it, in his (own) house.”

[Ibn Majah, Kitab Al-Hadud, 2546] (Daif) & [Silsila Ahadees-e-Sahiha by Al-Bani, 2341] (Sahih)

Neither Ashamed Nor Conceals his Sins

“All the sins of my followers will be forgiven except those who commit a sin openly or disclose their sins to the people. Like a person who commits a sin at night and though Allah screens it from the public, then he comes in the morning, and says, ‘O so-and-so, I did such-and-such (evil) deed yesterday,’ though he spent his night screened by his Lord and in the morning he removes Allah’s screen from himself.”

Bible on Chances of Rich Entering Heaven

“Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, ‘Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?’ ... Jesus replied ... ‘There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.’ ... ‘All these I have kept,’ the young man said. ‘What do I still lack?’ Jesus answered, ‘If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.’ When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God’”

It was narrated that from Musawir Al Himyari from his mother that she heard Umm Salamah say, “I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say, ‘Any woman who dies when her husband is pleased with her, will enter Paradise.’”

Three Levels of Preventing Evil

Abu Saeed reported ... Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “Whoever among you sees evil, let him change it with his hand. If he cannot, then with his tongue. If he cannot, then with his heart, which is the weakest level of faith.”

Natural Attraction for Humans

“Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return.”
