اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

“O Allah! Grant me health in my body. O Allah! Grant me good hearing. O Allah! Grant me good eyesight. There is no god nor worthy of worship but You.”

Narrating a False Dream is the Worst Lie

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ «مِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى أَنْ يُرِيَ عَيْنَيْهِ مَا لَمْ تَرَ »

Narrated by Ibn Umar (r.a), the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “The worst lie is that a person claims to have seen a dream which he has not seen.”

[Sahih Al-Bukhari, Kitab At-Tabeer (91), 7043]

Dreams are of Three Types

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ « أَصْدَقُكُمْ رُؤْيَا أَصْدَقُكُمْ حَدِيثًا وَالرُّؤْيَا ثَلَاثَةٌ فَرُؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةِ بُشْرَى مِنْ اللَّهِ وَرُؤْيَا تَحْزِينٌ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ وَرُؤْيَا مِمَّا يُحَدِّثُ الْمَرْءُ نَفْسَهُ فَإِنْ رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ مَا يَكْرَهُ فَلْيَقُمْ فَلْيُصَلِّ وَلَا يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا النَّاسَ »

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (r.a), the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “The most truthful of you are those with the truest dreams. There are three kinds of vision: a righteous vision, which is good news from Allah, a distressful vision from Satan, and a vision arising from oneself. If one of you sees something he dislikes, let him stand to pray and not speak to people about it.”

Reward for Saying Darood (Blessings)

أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم « مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَىَّ صَلاَةً وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرَ صَلَوَاتٍ وَحُطَّتْ عَنْهُ عَشْرُ خَطِيئَاتٍ وَرُفِعَتْ لَهُ عَشْرُ دَرَجَاتٍ »

Anas bin Malik (r.a), the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold, and will erase ten sins from him, and will raise him ten degrees in status.”
